EKSTEIN-TRATT, Sylvia (nee Spivack). Peacefully on Sunday, June 26, 2005 with her family by her side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of twenty-six years of Lawrence Ekstein. Predeceased by her first and loving husband Philip Tratt. Daughter of the late Hilda and Max Spivack. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Bruce Tratt, Robyn Tratt-Fenster (Alan) and Matthew Tratt (Debra). Devoted and loving Bubby of Jordana, Corey, Ashley, Brittany and Shelby Fenster and Philip Tratt. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Molly and the late Ben Bultz and Isadore (Issie) and Mildred Spivack. She will also be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and many friends. She will forever be in our hearts and lovingly remembered for her unending love and devotion to her family. Many thanks to the CLSC Rene Cassin homecare department team members for their dedication, support and excellent care. Special heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and patient attendants of the Notre Dame Hospital's 6AB and palliative care units for their outstanding care and compassion. Funeral services from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation section of the Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
