CASS, Nina (née Levenstone) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nina Cass in her ninety-seventh year on Friday, April 13, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Louis. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of the late Elly-Sue and Peter Shenfield; Mayme and Richard Vineberg; Shelley and the late Sid Rothman; and Alice Cass. Devoted Bubbie of Eric Shenfield and Sharon Gagnon; Marion Albaum and Kevin Albaum; Dr. Sabrina Vineberg and Eric Nathanson; Charles and Joanna Vineberg; Stuart and Dr. Laura Rothman; Nina Rothman and Eric Riz; PJ and Julie Rothman; Marshall Rothman; Jeremy Weiss (fiancée Dalia Spatzner); and Lucas Weiss. Doting Bubbie of 12 great-grandchildren with two more on the way. Predeceased by her brother and sister-in law Bernie and Surkie Levenstone and her sister and brother-in-law Sylvia and Harry Broodney. Nina's loving kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered by her wide circle of friends and relatives and her very special nieces Avra Berg, Norine Mendell and Sheila Maislin. We will greatly miss Nina's unconditional love and support, her positive attitude and her enthusiasm for life. She was incredible and her beautiful spirit will forever be in our hearts and minds. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, April 15 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
