We are very sorry to announce Joyce’s peaceful passing on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Wife of the late Saul. Joyce was the matriarch of a large family who treasured her. She will be sorely missed by her devoted children, Naomi, Jonathan and Linda, Marcie and Manny, David and Ann, Alana, her ten cherished grandchildren Katherine and David, Hanne and Ian, Ezra and Therese, Sam and Erin, Adam and Mikaella, Alice, Isaac and Ayesha, Micah and Jaz, Claire, Joshua and YJ, and nine great-grandchildren Isaac, Jordan, Dinah, Levi, Liv, Arieh, Ben, Sophie, and Noah. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ricky and the late Leonard Waldman, Elsa and the late Irwin Waldman. Joyce was much loved by her nieces, nephews and extended family. She loved reading, music and being with her family. Her warmth, empathy and intellectual curiosity made a deep impression on everyone she met. We would also like to acknowledge the dedication of her excellent caregivers Sherry, Mena, Sevda, and Emily and thank you to the staff at Manoir Kensington. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, December 21 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
