Obituary It is with great sadness that the family of Harriet Joy Rosenthall announces her passing on Saturday, October 29, 2022, lovingly surrounded by her family and closest friends. Cherished wife of Howard Michaels. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Ashlee Wismach and Noam Schnitzer, Lee-Andrew Wismach and Samantha Vandzura. Beloved Bubbie of Ella, Leo and Ethan Schnitzer; Warner and Nathan Wismach. Dear daughter of the late Lionel and the late Ruth Rosenthall. Adored sister-in-law and sister of Diane and the late Charles Rosenthall, Rona and the late Jonathan Rosenthall; and sister-in-law of Sheila and Leslie Cowan, Allan and Ruth Michaels. Harriet will be dearly missed by her many cousins, lifelong friends, and all those who loved her.

Her children went the distance, as far as they could reach, to try and understand her illnesses, make a difference in any way they could, and provide every opportunity for care and comfort that was possible during these difficult few years. The family acknowledges with deep gratitude Jannet and her team at the Residence D’Amour, devoted doctors at the JGH Memory Clinic and Montreal Neurological Hospital, as well as the staff of Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence this past week for their care and devotion.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, November 1 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom Congregation Section. Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.

Ashlee, Lee-Andrew and family will be sitting shiva at 130 Brock Ave. S., Montreal-West, Tuesday following burial until 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. daily on Wednesday and Thursday, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, and from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Howard Michaels will be sitting shiva at 3095 Ernest Hemingway Ave. #302, V.S.L. on Tuesday following burial until 4:00 p.m., and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily, Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
