GOLD, Ruth (nee Bloomfield). It is with profound sadness, but gentle relief that the family announces the passing of Ruth Gold on Tuesday, April 29, 2008. She was the beloved wife of Louis P. (Lou) for over sixty years and the most devoted mother of Gerald (Judy Steinberg) and Donna (Ziggy Zalezniak). Ruth is sadly mourned by her adoring grandchildren Robert and Elyssa; Evan, Ryan and Casey. She is survived by her brother and sisters-in-law Sheldon and Doris Bloomfield of Los Angeles, Anne David and predeceased by her brother David (Doodie) Bloomfield. Fondly remembered by her family and many friends. The family extends heartfelt thanks to her friend and physician Dr. Linda Snell. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Thursday, May 1 at 12 noon. Burial at the Beth El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva private.
