DERMER, Stella (nee Litwin). On Friday, January 30, 2009. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Devoted wife of the late Sol Dermer. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Howard Dermer and Ruth Hornstein, Frances and Allan Singerman, Lawrie and Phylene. Cherished grandmother of Jordan and Mandy, Michael and Patricia, Adam, Emily and Josh; Matthew, Gillian, Melissa, Audra and David; Melissa, Lee and Jen. Adored great-grandmother of Alexandra and James; Nicolas and Nathan; Brendan and Kylie; Amanda and Jake; Devon and Kori. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sam and the late Sara Litwin, Joyce and the late Harold Rosen, Stanley and the late Carol Litwin, Bob and Joan Litwin; and sister-in-law of Roslyn and John Shenker, Edith and Norman Glickman, Ruth and the late Fred Dermer, the late Shirley and the late Ben Silverman, the late Harold Dermer. Special thanks to Dr. Neil Trister, Dr. Gordon Crelinstein, and to her loving caregiver, Amy Taeza, for their exceptional care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, February 1, at 2 p.m. Burial at Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beth El Congregation Section, Beaconsfield.
