PANTEL, Susan Ellen (nee Greenfeld) After a short but courageous battle, on Thursday, March 3, 2011, in her sixty-eighth year. Daughter of the late Edna and the late Hyman Greenfeld, and daughter-in-law of the late Sarah and the late Alec Pantel. Dear wife and true love of Earl. Beloved mother and mother-in-law to Stephanie Pantel and Lorne Aranoff, Gloria and Mitchell Pantel. Very proud grandmother of Emma Aranoff. Cherished sister of Carol Amro and sister-in-law of Terry and Ronny Pantel. She will be missed by her nieces, Romy, Corry & Liana Amro, and nephews, Jamie Finiffter and Noah Pantel. She will be sadly missed by her many aunts and uncles, family and friends. The family would like to thank the physicians, nurses and staff of the Jewish General Hospital Emergency Room, 8 NW and the Oncology Department, for their compassion and dedication, with special thanks to Drs. David Melnychuk, Gerald Batist, Gad Friedman and Tsafrir Vanounou. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, March 6 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Congregation Beth El Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva private, daily from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., ending Wednesday evening, March 9.
