PANTEL, William (Bill) With dignity and courage, on Thursday, August 19, 2010. Husband of the late Dorothy Stattner. Loving father and father-in-law of Randy and Ralph Cohen, Gerri and Mattie Chinks, Jimmy and Bonnie Pantel, Stewart Pantel and Ruth Lesslie. Devoted partner and best friend of Elaine Walfish. Adored "Papa" of Jaimee Diamond and David Mandell, Mark Diamond; Erica and Lucas Pantel. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Hy and Beverly Pantel, Esther Goldfarb and Saul Tolmasky, the late Morris and the late Fanny Luchner, the late Alec and the late Sarah Pantel, the late Ben and the late Laura, the late Mary Lerner, the late Abe Pantel, the late Jack and the late Mildred Pantel, the late Saul and the late Tillie Pantel. Dear brother-in-law of Mona and Lionel Portigal, the late Gertrude Pantel, the late Betty Pantel, the late Lionel Goldfarb, the late Ruby Friedman. Sadly mourned and fondly remembered by Alexandra Chinks and Ilan Goldberg, Joshua, Brooke and Morgan Chinks; Audrey and Teddy Miller, Gabrielle and Brittany Miller; Gail and Michael Wagen, Jordan and Matthew Stotland; Gary and Linda Walfish, Laurel and Gregory Walfish. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, August 22 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Beth El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at his home.
