PANTEL, Sarah (nee Spungin). Peacefully, on Tuesday, August 20, 2002. Wife of the late Al Pantel. Beloved mother of Earl, Terry, Ronny and mother-in-law of Susan and Elaine. Cherished Bubby of Mitchell and Gloria, Stephanie, Jamie and Noah. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sam Spungin, the late Yetta Dolowitz, the late Jacob and the late Huguette Spungin and sister-in-law of Ben and the late Laura Pantel, Hy and Bev Pantel, William and the late Dorothy Pantel, Esther and the late Lionel Goldfarb, the late Abe Pantel, the late Fanny and the late Morris Luchner, the late Mary Lerner, the late Jack and the late Mildred Pantel, the late Saul and the late Tillie Pantel, the late Gert Pantel, the late Ruby Friedman. Sadly mourned by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Kalin, nurses Belle Maclan and Judith Marchessault of the Mount Sinai Palliative Home Care Program, and to doctors Peter Lipes, David Langleben and Bernard Lapointe, for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Wednesday, August 21 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Beth-el Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
