DOUEK, Frida (nee Antebi)
Peacefully, on Saturday, April 16, 2016, in her ninety-eighth year. Beloved wife of the late Leon Douek. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Maurice and Helen of California, Joseph and Claudie, Margaret and Howard (Chaim) Ellner. Cherished 'grandmaman' of Freida, Michael and David Douek; Jennifer, Daniel and Benjamin Douek; Laura and Stephanie Ellner. Proud great-grandmother of twelve. Sister and sister-in-law of Harry Antebi, the late Sylvia and the late Jean Cleinge, the late David and the late Ginette Antebi, and sister-in-law of Celly and the late Ezekiel Schouela, Nina and the late Edouard Douek, Bertha (Bacci) and the late Albert Douek, Denise and the late Elie Douek, the late Bension and the late Renee Douek, Huguette and the late Henri Douek. Frida will be sadly mourned by her loving brother Harry Antebi, her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank her dear caregivers for their love and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, April 18 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth-El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at 632 Lansdowne Ave., Westmount, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily. Due to the advent of Passover, shiva ends Thursday evening. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frida's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
