On Thursday, May 31, 2001 in his eighty-fourth year. Beloved husband of Muriel Polonsky. Loving father and father-in-law of Stephen and Harriet, Peter and Nancy, Brian and Roslyn. Cherished Grandpa of Robert and Stephanie, and Gregory; Andrew and Matthew; Daniel, Justin and Jessica. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Cecile and the late Irving Phillips, Rose and the late Hy Vinokur, Ben and the late Sylvia Segal, the late Esther and the late Manny Lazar, the late Fanny and the late Abe Silverman, the late Henry Segal, the late Oscar and the late Esther Segal; and brother-in-law of Albert and Sima Polonsky, Claire and the late Philip Polonski, Elsie and the late Mac Polonsky. Sadly mourned by his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. A.J. Maclean, and the doctors and the staff at the Montreal General Hospital.
