CORNFIELD, Hana (nee Kolm)
Peacefully, on Monday, November 7, 2016, in her ninety-sixth year. Devoted wife of the late Ben Cornfield. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Carolyn and Lawrence Reich, Joyce Cornfield Mazur and Gerard Mazur, and Louise Harrison. Loving Granny Jo-Jo of Drs. Heather Reich and Kevin Katz, Rebecca Reich and Jonathan Assouline; Paul, Alexis, and Daniel Harrison. Treasured great-grandmother of Gabrielle, Eli and Joey Katz; Ilan and Nissim Assouline. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Maureen and the late Herbert Kolm, and sister-in-law of Rose and the late Julius Letovsky, Al and Marabelle Cornfield, Sam Cornfield, the late Anne and the late Ed Ikeman, the late Louis and the late Seema Cornfield. Hana will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Tessie De Guzman for her devoted care over the years, and to Emily Bernard. Heartfelt thanks to the Mount Sinai Palliative Care Home and In-patient Care departments: Dr. Ghoche for his gentle support and guidance, and Dr. Chen, Cathy MacDonald, and Lydia for their compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, November 10 at 10:15 a.m. Burial at the Beth-El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at her daughter Joyce's home through Sunday evening.
