CORNFIELD, Ben (Benny)
Peacefully, on Monday, December 24, 2012, at the age of ninety. Beloved husband of Hana Kolm for sixty-six years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Carolyn and Lawrence Reich, Joyce and Gerard Mazur, and Louise Harrison. Loving Zaidie of Heather Reich and Kevin Katz, Rebecca Reich and Jonathan Assouline; and Paul, Alexis and Daniel Harrison. Proud great-grandfather of Gabrielle, Eli and Joey Katz; Ilan and Nissim Assouline. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Rose and Julius Letovsky, Al and Marabelle Cornfield, Sam Cornfield, Ed and the late Anne Ikeman, the late Louis and the late Seema Cornfield, and brother-in-law of Maureen and the late Herbert Kolm. Ben will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank Tessie De Guzman for her gentle care, as well as Dr. John Storring and the devoted nurses and staff of the Oncology Day Centre at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, December 26 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Beth El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
