ABRAMS, Sydney (Syd)
Peacefully in Florida, on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at the age of seventy-two. Beloved husband of Doreen. Cherished father and father-in-law of Randy and Tricia Abrams, Shari and Gregg Gillett. Treasured step-father of Mindy and Jason Haupt, Randy and Joe Fischer. Adored Zaidie/Grandpa of Sara, Olivia, Addison, Emily, Ethan, Daniella, and Gabriella. Devoted brother and brother-in-law of Mel and Susan Abramovitch, Fred and Lil Abramovitch; and brother-in-law of Lynda Kramer, and Susan Kramer. Son of the late Issie and the late Claire Abramovitch. Syd will be greatly missed by his cousins, nieces and nephews as well as many close friends in both Montreal and Florida. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, October 10 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Beth El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at the home of Mindy and Jason Haupt from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. daily, through Monday evening. |
