In Montreal with dignity and courage, on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 after a rich and productive life. Beloved husband of Shirley Dalfen for 69 years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Bonnie and Stuart Rosenberg, Susan Pomerantz and George Weinberger, and Shelley Pomerantz and Michael Williams. Treasured and devoted Grandfather of Marla and Brad Gornstein, David and Danielle Rosenberg, James Weinberger, Rachel Williams, and Sophie Williams. Dedicated and loving great-grandfather of Leah, Zach and Sam. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Anne and the late Hy Pomerantz, the late Danny and the late Monique Pomerantz; and brother-in-law of Arnie and Molly Dalfen, Mendy and Rosalie Dalfen, Claire and the late Bunny Dalfen, the late Hilda and the late Joe Gerchicoff. Devoted uncle of Seth and Sandy, Barbara and Scott; Rebecca and Jason, Aliyah, Farrah and Brian, Miriam; Shlaimie, Robbie and Sharon, Marlene; Diane and Stanley, Joanne and Billy; Stephen, and Gayle. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., Montreal, on Friday, August 28 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Beth-El Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
