GOLDSTEIN, Jennie (nee Transky) In her ninety-fifth year, on Monday, July 27, 2009. Wife of the late Oscar. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Morton and Roslyn, Norman and Soryl, Stephen, and the late Evelyn Kositsky. Loving Bubbie of Howard Goldstein (Fred), Ian Goldstein (Albert), Emily Polson (Chris), Matthew Kositsky, Joel Kositsky (Mala), Bonnie Weingust (Ron), Brenda Osler (Brian), and great-grandmother of Hannah and Mitchell Weingust, Perry and Megan Osler, and James Kositsky. Devoted sister of the late Tillie Polansky (Maurice), the late Bertha Transky, the late Bernard Transky, and the late Mike Transky. Sister-in-law of the late Gertie Yanofsky (the late Barney), the late Rita Lands (the late Joe), the late Ernest Goldstein (the late Anne), and the late Louis Goldstein (the late Fay). Special thanks to her caregivers, Jamie and Myra, and to Sandy Baitel and her staff at Beit Chai for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, July 29 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Nusach Hoari Cemetery, de la Savane.
