MENDELSOHN, Bernard (Ben). Peacefully on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at the age of ninety-three. Son of the late Adela and the late Joseph Mendelsohn. Beloved husband of the late Sylvia Grosser. Devoted father and father-in-law of Lorna and George Goldstein, Howard and Marion, and Joseph all of Florida. Loving grandfather of Barbi and Warren Goldstein of New York, Robyn and Jeffrey Goldstein of Atlanta, Danny of Atlanta, and Josh. Adoring great-grandfather of Jordan, Haley, and Max Goldstein. Predeceased by his siblings Eva and Julius Lowitz, Claire and Sam Kantor, and Harry. Brother-in-law of Al (Abe) and the late Esther Grosser, the late Mary and the late Ben Grosser. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, caregivers and staff of Mt. Sinai Hospital for their exceptional care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Sunday, July 1 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Nusach Hoari Congregation Cemetery, De La Savane. Shiva at Ruby Foo's Hotel Sunday only.
