Obituary KUPFERT, Eva (nee Altenberg). Suddenly and peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, July 9, 2002. Beloved wife of the late Morris. Most cherished mother and mother-in-law of Jack and Holly Kupfert, Frank and Florence Dimant of Toronto, Beverly Kupfert and Brian Heller of Toronto. Adored grandmother of Mark, Randi, Shawn, and Liane Kupfert, Aviva and Simmy Zieleniec of Israel, Miriam and Avi Klein of Toronto, Arie Dimant of Toronto, Mariel, Joseph and Daniel Heller of Toronto. Great-grandmother of Moshe Menachem, and Amiel Shmuel Zieleniec of Israel. She lived her life as an inspiration to her family and friends. Having survived the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the death camps of Majdanek, Auschwitz and Bergen Belsen, Eva and her husband Morris emigrated to Montreal, Canada, a country they both loved, to raise their family. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Thursday, July 11 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Congregation Beth Hamedresh Hagadol Cemetery, de la Savane.
