ROTCHTIN, Hyman (Hy) At the Jewish General Hospital, on Friday, March 18, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late Abraham and the late Leah Rotchtin. Devoted husband of the late Sylvia Goldberg. Son-in-law of the late Sam and the late Freda Goldberg. Cherished father and father-in-law of Sharron and Lorne Abrams, Arlene Rotchtin and Robert Brumer, Richard Rotchtin and Lynn Wintraub. Adored grandfather (a.k.a. "Honey") of Jamie and Gail, Stacey and Richard, Carey and Ben, Robin, Jeremy, David, Steven, and Jonathan. Most loved great-grandfather of Matthew, Sabrina, Eva, Alexa, Aubrey, and Max. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Marcia and Oscar Colman, Ezra and Shirley Rotchin. Predeceased by his other siblings and their spouses, Sarah and Paul Policoff, Ida and Lou Sherman, Charles and Sylvia Rotchin, Gene and Moe Geller, Nathan Rotchtin, Florence and Jack Cooperman. Brother-in-law of the late Morrie and the late Ruth Goldberg. Uncle Hy will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, March 21 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Russian Polish Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily, through Friday, March 25.
