PEARL, Minnie (nee Lomonosof). After a brief illness on Thursday, May 24, 2007, 10 days after her one-hundredth birthday. Beloved wife of the late Issie. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Ron and the late Goldie Pearl, Norman and Claire Pearl. Loving Bubbie and Grandma of Ted Pearl and Barbara Lauder, Sharon Pearl and Lorne Smart, David Pearl and Naomi Theodor of Guelph, Stephanie Pearl and Laurence Bloom of Boston, Gillian Pearl and Ron Kunitzky of Toronto, Lindsay Pearl of London, England, and Justine Pearl. Adored Great Bubbie of Jenna, Brandon, Adam, Jacob, and Eli. Predeceased by her brothers Harry, Albert, and Julius Lomonosof. Friend and aunt of Leila Hertzog. Minnie remained active as a community volunteer well into her nineties. Her constant warmth, humor and love will be missed by her family and friends in Montreal, and Cowansville where she lived for 35 years. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff of 8W at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care.
