YATES, Barrie. Very peacefully, after a courageous battle, on Friday, September 8, 2006 at the Jewish General Hospital at the age of sixty-three. Beloved husband of Adele Kofsky. Cherished son of Sydney and the late Rita Yates of London, England. Dearly loved father of Jodye and Colleen Yates and Serika and Jeffrey Raymond. Treasured Zaida of Lilian Yates, Daniella Raymond, and to a bundle of joy due in November. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Denise and Ken Phillips of London, England, Harvey and Sandra Kofsky, Robert and Peggy Singer. Uncle of Tev and Melanie Kofsky, Ivan Phillips and Neal Phillips of London, England, Rachel Singer and Noah Singer. The family would like to thank the staff at 5NW, Jewish General Hospital for their care and compassion.
