ISRAEL, Harvey Peacefully on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Jewish General Hospital, at age eighty-three. Son of the late Morris Israel and the late Rose Diner of Montreal. Dearly beloved and adored husband of Shirley Feldman for 45 years. Loving father of Robyn Israel, and Marla Israel and Joanna Adam. Dear brother of Shirley Thau. Brother-in-law of Rose and the late Saul Trottenberg, the late Irving and the late Ann Feldman, the late Mac Feldman, and the late Saul and the late Dora Feldman. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will also be dearly missed by his cousins and by all who knew and loved him; Harvey was a kind and gentle soul and he is now in a better place. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff on 6W and in the ICU at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, December 4 at 11:00 am. Burial at the Chevra Tillum Pinsker Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane.
