Obituary WELL-KNOWN RABBI DIES. A. Zalmanovitch was Authority on Rabbinical Law. The death occurred yesterday at the Jewish General Hospital of Rabbi A. Zalmanovitch, 72-year-old Rabbi of the Chevra Shaas and Kinan Torah Synagogues of this city. Secretary of the Montreal Council of Orthodox Rabbis he was recognized as one of the most competent authorities on Jewish Ecclesiastical and Rabbinical Law and was the author of many treatices on the Talmud and of much Rabbinical literature. He is survived by his wife, four sons and two daughters. The funeral service will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from his late residence 4281 Esplanade avenue.
