JACOBSON, Jack In his eighty-fifth year. Peacefully after a long illness, Jack died at the Jewish General Hospital on Saturday, August 15, 2009. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Sarah Jacobson, beloved husband for 60 years of Phyllis (Magill). Dearly loved father of Barbara (John Love), Saryl (Maureen Dunn), Howard (the late Barbara Nickel), devoted Zaida of Noah (fiancee Rachel Verbin), Emily Love and Abbey Jacobson. Dear brother of Sylvia (Abe Posner) and the late Sam. Brother-in-law of the late Sheila and Murray Lipson, and the late Dr. Frank Magill. Jack was a cherished friend to many and will be greatly missed by family, friends and community. The family would like to thank Dr. Chang and the staff of the JGH and caregiver Jocelyn Johnson for their attentive care. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at 12 noon. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
