MAYER, Magda (nee Braun)
Holocaust survivor. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Magda Mayer (nee Braun) on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at the age of eighty-six. Wife of the late Abraham Mayer. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Aggie and Leslie Stark, Miriam and Barry Bloch. Cherished Bubbie of Michael (Lindsay) Stark, Alissa (Terry) Kondogiannis, Rachelle (Ariel) Lasry, Daniel (Liora) Bloch, and Anthony Bloch. Adored Great-Bubbie of Mia, Tal, Adrianna, Joey, and Oliver. Predeceased by her sister Manci (Vilmos) Hajnal, and by her brother Alex (Hannah) Braun. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Thursday, August 29 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Chevra Mishnayos Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva 6795 Korczak Cres., # 502.
