BRANDEIS, Lily (nee Snowball) Peacefully, on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, in her one-hundred-and-fourth year. Beloved wife of the late Irving. Loving mother of Robert Charles. Treasured grandmother of Rachel and Lisa, and great-grandmother of Patrick of Toronto. Adored daughter of the late Rose and the late Philip Snowball. Predeceased by her dear siblings, Ethel Snowball, Sadye Rinzler (John). Sister-in-law of the late Jack and the late Esther Brandeis, the late Mack and the late Ann Brandeis. Cherished aunt of Judy Brandeis, the late Ruth Levin (Mervin), Grace Stober (the late Melvin) of Montreal, Queenie Miller (Louis) of Nashville, and their extended families. Sadly missed by her devoted cousin, Eddie Kasner and his wife, Bella. Special thanks to the two 'Evas' - companions Ania and Sophia - and to the staff of 2nd floor Kastner Pavilion of the Jewish Eldercare Centre. Graveside service on Friday, May 15, at 2 p.m., Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Cemetery, Beth Yitzchok Section (Gate #4), de la Savane. Arrangements entrusted to Paperman & Sons. |
