VINEBERG, Jack Born in Detroit, Michigan, Jack passed away peacefully, on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the age of ninety-three. Beloved husband of the late Gwen. Loving father and father-in-law of Nancy and Brian, Joel and Stella. Cherished grandfather of Janna and Melanie (Melanie). Devoted brother and brother-in-law of Betty and the late Don; and brother-in-law of the late Marion and late Gersh. Special uncle of Linda and Ivan, Gayle and Gord. Jack was a kind, gentle and honorable man. He had a quick and playful sense of humour and he engaged many with his quick wit. He was passionate about art, theatre, music and crosswords, and imparted this love on his two adored granddaughters. Sincere gratitude to everyone at the Waldorf for your kindness, compassion and respect for all of us. Special thanks to the 2nd floor staff of Tower 2 for your loving care. You are all angels! Graveside service on Tuesday, July 23 at 11:00 a.m., at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Beth Yitzchok Section, de la Savane. Shiva at The Waldorf, 7400 ch. de la Cote-Saint-Luc (reception room), C.S.L., Tuesday following burial until 3:00 p.m. Contributions in his memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
