AMRAM, Maurice In Montreal, on July 7, 2004, the day after his 65th birthday, Maurice Amram, an engineer, professor at the Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal and a renowned acoustician, passed away after a bitter fight against cancer. He is survived by his loving companion Suzanne Danino, his two princesses Karina (Michael Riley) and Melissa, his sisters and beloved brother Nita (Albert Edery), Yolande (George Roch) and Jacques (Ingeborg Korell) and his nephews and nieces all tenderly beloved: Gerard Edery (Elspeth) and their children Ian and Kate, Brigitte and Kim Caroland and their son Luke, Jack Edery and his children Karley and Jonah, Nathalie and Cameron Young and their children Mathias and Emmanuelle, Laurent Amram, Bruce and Geraldine Roch, Geraldine and Jeremy Benattar. He loved, like his, the children of his companion, Michael Dadoun (Magali) and Stephane Dadoun (Cathy) and their small families: Noah, Sarah, Veronique, Alexia and Chloe. His departure also saddened the mother of his children, Jocelyne Ouellette, as well as his colleagues and many friends.
