BAKISH, Dora (nee Mitz) Peacefully, in Labelle, Qc, on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at age ninety-six. She was born on April 22, 1914, in Istanbul, Turkey. She was predeceased by her parents, Amelie (nee Pinhas) and Sabettai Mitz; her husband, Dr. Marko Bakish; and her brother, Andr Mitz. Dora is survived by her son, David (Margaret); her three grandchildren, Jaimie (Gord Kennedy), Nick (Evelyne Massa) and Joe; her great-grandchildren, Luke and Madeleine; her nephews, Alain Charles and Pierre Mitz; and her sister-in-law, Paulette Mitz. Dear friend of the late Bernie Kreps. Dora was a unique individual who enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a dancer, pianist and very good poker player. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., Montreal, on Sunday, April 3 at 12 noon.
