LUMER, Solomon J. Peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, December 31, 2007. Beloved husband of Helen Lapkovsky for fifty-nine years. Loving father and father-in-law of Victor and Eileen Lumer (Little), Barbara Lumer and Bob DeWolf. Cherished Grandpa of Jonathan, Erin, and Laura. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Harry and Cleo, the late Shirley and the late Bernie Solomon. Brother-in-law of Freda and Maury Hutkins, Phil and Evelyn Lapkovsky, Elsie and George Fisher. Sol will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the 7th floor at Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their exceptional care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W. on Thursday, January 3 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Beth Yitschok Section, De La Savane.
