FAINER, Lila (nee Herer) Peacefully, on Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Lyon. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Claire-Joan Fainer and Brian O'Hara, Arthur Fainer, Andrew Fainer and Bonnie Boretsky. Cherished grandmother of Laurie, Andra, Ariel, Danielle and Samuel. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Eleanor and the late Moe Herer, the late Anne and the late Moe Brenhouse, and sister-in-law of Murray and Lois Fainer, the late Nat and the late Lillian Finkelstein. Lila will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Intensive Care Unit at the Lakeshore General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Special thanks to Dr. Ionescu.
