Sadly and with a great sense of loss, our family announces the death of our cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. There was a woman! Once in a while there is someone whose beautiful spirit and caring heart makes a difference in the lives of so many. Also survived by cherished twin sons - and daughters-in-law - Larry and Phyllis, Marty and the late Gail Margolese of Vancouver, Harvey and Margaret of Edmonton, and Ron and partner Jeannie. Loving grandmother of Stephen (Heidi), Debbie (Howie), Joshua, Leonard, Ilana, Lisa (Sergio), Lauren, Steven, Karen, and Brian. Proud great-grandmother of Leanne, Brooke, Taylor and Sofia. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers Eva, Bertha, Harry, Max and Hyman. Our family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Jack Gaiptman and all the staff at Maimonides. The family is immeasurably grateful to Sheila, Bibi and Chaundra for their exceptional care and compassion.
