Jaime Rozowykwiat 1921-2014 - Jaime (Chaim) Rozowykwiat Chaim was a man of great courage, strength, generosity and an insatiable thirst for life. With dignity, he passed away at the age of 93, on September 1, 2014. Beloved husband to Bertha Albert, and survived by his son Enrique Rozowykwiat in Montreal, daughter-in law Teresa Rozowykwiat and grandchildren Daniel, Joana and Andrei in Brazil. His memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren in Montreal (Danny, Perry, Samantha), Cousins in France (Jacques, Jeannie, Anette, Aline, Daniel, Audrey, Ariele, Jean-Edmond and Marc), and dearest friends Carmen and Annie whom he considered as daughters. Chaim was a traditional Jew and cultured man who spoke eight languages. He enjoyed devouring books and visiting different parts of the world to marvel at the the indelible achievements of man. Always more concerned about the well-being of those around him, he asked nothing of others, but gave so much. He often said that we should take a moment to ''live a little''; and he was an example of how to do just that. Our memory of Chaim will continue to inspire us. Funeral services will be held September 3rd at 12pm at Chesed Shel Emes (935 Avenue Beaumont, 514-273-3211) and burial will take place at De la Savane Cemetary in Beth Yehuda Extension |
