THAW, Erwyn It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest father on Sunday, July 25, 2010. Predeceased by his beloved wife Pearl Mendelson. Cherished father and father-in-law of Howard and Ann, Michael and Jacki, Jeffrey and Debbie. Adored grandfather of Ariela, Sara, Dinah, Rich, Cyndee, Adam, Amanda, Daniel and Jonathan. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Gerald and Barbara Thaw of Ottawa, and Paula Sax. Brother-in-law of Esther and the late Saul Mager, Corinne and Gerald Frank, Bonnie and the late Sammy Jacobs, Doreen and the late Morty Mendelson, the late Hy and the late Liz Mendelson, the late Mitzi and the late Phil Schnapp. He leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family. We would like to pay special tribute to Gina, Voltaire and the staff at Mount Sinai Hospital for their exceptional care. Graveside service at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Yehuda Section, de la Savane, on Tuesday, July 27 at 2 p.m. Shiva private from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily through Thursday evening, July 29.
