THAW, Pearl (nee Mendelson) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest mother, Friday February 27, 2009. Survived by her husband Erwyn. Cherished mother of Howard (Ann), Michael (Jacki) and Jeffrey (Debbie). Adored "Bubby" of Ariela, Sara, Dinah, Rich, Cydnee, Adam, Amanda, Daniel and Jonathan. Dear sister of Esther (the late Saul) Mager, the late Hy (the late Liz) Mendelson, the late Mitzi (the late Phil) Schnapp, Bonnie (the late Sammy) Jacobs, Corinne (Gerald) Frank and the late Morty (Doreen) Mendelson. Dear sister-in-law to Gerry (Barbara) Thaw. She leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins as well as extended family members Gina, Rose, Juliette, and Sandy. We are grateful to Dr. Michael Dworkind for his guidance and compassion in helping to provide our Mother much comfort and dignity. Thanks to Dr. Lawrence Rudski for his constant care and presence. We would like to pay special tribute to the phenomenal staff and the exceptional care at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., Sunday March 1,2009 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Yehuda Section, de la Savane.
