KATZ, Bessie (nee Mendelson) Peacefully, on Monday, April 4, 2011. Cherished wife of the late Issie Katz. Beloved daughter of the late Harry Mendelson and the late Annie Bercusson. Loving sister of the late Sarah, the late Dr. Hyman (the late Lynne Bergman), the late Kate, the late Judge Joseph A. (the late Anita Veroff), the late Esther Levy, the late Myer, the late Etta. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, Sheila and Ted Barkun, Hazel Zemel, Mark and Edna Mendelson, Brenda and Marvin Segal, Susan and Charles Schwartzman, Ilsa and Tim Burns, and by many great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, April 6 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Beth Yehuda Section, de la Savane.
