GRUMET, Harriet (nee Ward) On May 5, 2017, at the age of ninety-one. She left this world quietly, peacefully and with dignity - just as she had lived. Beloved wife of the late Arthur. Most loving mother and mother-in-law of Judi and Norman Bubis, Barbara and Michael Martin, Myron and Sandra. Precious Grandma of Elana and Colin Wishart, Richard Bubis, Jason and Sabrina, Ashley, and Robbie Martin, Robin and Jared Shapransky, Jesse, Haley, and Adam Grumet. Proud Great-Grandma of James Wishart and Ari Martin. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses: Florence and Joe Agulnick, Bernice and Billy Gold, Melvin, Ruth and Moe Brock, and Berel. A gracious and generous woman, she will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Many thanks to the most wonderful staff at the Jewish General Hospital who cared for her and treated her like the precious woman she was. Graveside service on Sunday, May 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane. Judi and Myron will be sitting shiva at their mother's home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Barbara will be sitting shiva at her home.
