STERNTHAL, Adele Peacefully, with dignity, on Friday, June 6, 2014. Daughter of the late Katie and the late Abe Sternthal. Sister and sister-in-law of Harvey and Sabina, Barry and Gloria. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, Marni and Paul Dicker, Francie and Doug Wiseman, Lori and Georges Berberi, Scott Sternthal and Tasha Lackman, Jessie Sternthal, Heidi and Paul Garellek. Great-aunt of Ryan, Lee, Kasey, Jamie, Chloe, Sam, Zoe, Camryn, Frida and Sarah. The family extends its deepest gratitude to Dr. Susie Lau and Dr. Paul Cleland for their devoted care and friendship. Special thanks to her caregivers, Doris, Lulu, Lisa and Sheena, and to the wonderful staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, June 9 at 12 noon. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane. Shiva at her home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. through Wednesday evening.
