CHANKOWSKY, Rose "Raizel". On January 22, 2005 at the age of ninety-seven surrounded by her family, after a long, beautiful and meaningful life. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Chankowsky. Dearest mother and mother-in-law of Marvin and Mona (Bell), Esther and Roger Rak, Miriam and Claude Robin. Cherished grandmother of Barry Chankowsky, Allen and Karen Chankowsky (Seligman) and the late Kenny Chankowsky, Kevin and Andrea Rak (Roitman), Stuart Rak, David and Shari Kellner (Baker), Stephanie and Alfonzo Renato, and Corey Kellner. Great-grandmother of Jessica, Anthony, Alex and Dillon Renato, Jeremy Kellner, Ethan Chankowsky and Brayden Rak. Sister and sister-in-law of the late Jack Wolansky, the late Abraham and Sylvia Chankowsky, and the late Sarah and Shloime Ackerman. She will be sadly missed by her very special cherished nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to Joan Daley, Angela Seabran, and Carol Rivas for their exceptional and devoted care.
