Obituary IDA ROSENBURG (nee Merovitz) Peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2005 in her ninety-third year. Beloved wife of the late Samuel. Treasured mother of Dan Rosenburg, and Ellie Presner. Cherished grandmother of Pierre and Beth, Linda and Eddie, Karin and Said, Kathryn and Shane, and Jeremy. Great-grandmother of Sherry and Adam. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Mel and Pearl Merovitz, Edie and Leonard McKinley, Anne and the late Al Albert, the late Ethel and the late Jack Miller, the late Bertha and the late Peter Rohr, the late Lily and the late Herman Blumberg; the late Gertrude and the late Jack Weinberg. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Eva Viezel, her many nieces and nephews, family, dear friends and faithful companion Boo-Boo. Ida was a great music lover, avid bridge player, superb listener and volunteer extraordinaire. We will miss her so much. "To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you lived. This is to have succeeded." -Ralph Waldo Emerson- Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Sunday August 28 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at Hebrew Sick "M" Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5501 Adalbert #1114. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
