COHEN, Les After a valiant battle, on Sunday, August 21, 2016. Beloved husband and best friend of Mayda Fargeon for fifty-five years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Steven Cohen, Mark Cohen and Dina Bestavros. Cherished Zaidie of Dalya, Sarit, and Gilli; and Liam. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Arnold and Molly Cohen, Beverly and Lawrence Bookman; Joan and the late Stanley Fargeon, and Arthur Fargeon. Les' sense of humour and unwavering positive outlook on life will be greatly missed by his family, friends and colleagues. Special thanks to Dr. Harold Olney and his team at the Notre Dame Hospital, as well as Dr. Natalie Skinner for their care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, August 24 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
