On Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at the age of ninety-one, at the Jewish General Hospital, due to COVID-19. Daughter of the late Alex and the late Rose Kahahnsky. Beloved wife of the late Jacob (Jack) Shinder. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Dr. Rowen Shinder of Moncton, NB, Dr. Neil and Rachel Shinder of New City, NY. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Louie Kahansky, the late Jessie Thaler, the late Mona and late Isaac Shustack, the late Hymie and late Mickey Markowitz, Estelle and the late Laz Kahan, and sister-in-law of Eddie Shinder. Leatrice will be sorely missed by her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and all who knew her. She was a lover of books, a great conversationalist and had a great wit.
