On Wednesday, August 29, 2001. Beloved husband of the late Sadie. Loving father and father-in-law of Trudy and Joel Hartt, Michael and Sylvia, Nancy and Jay Weiss. Cherished Zaida of fourteen grandchildren and proud great grandfather of five great grandchildren. Brother of the late Moe (Sarah), the late Ida (the late Jack) Handelzaltz. Dear brother-in-law of Ida and the late Moe Azriel, Annie and Irving Richer, Sam and Marilyn Portnoff, and George and Muriel Portnoff, Bob and the late Debra Speevak. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. He was a dedicated volunteer at the Hospital of Hope and Auberge Shalom. Funeral Service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Thursday, August 30 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private. In lieu of gifts or flowers, donations may be made to the Alec and Sadie Caplan Memorial Fund Jewish Hospital of Hope. |
