SOHMER, Ruth (nee Krieger) Peacefully in her ninety-seventh year on Saturday, September 12, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Maurice. Loving mother and mother-in-law of David and Marion, Charna and Mannie Young, Joseph Sohmer. Cherished "Bubby Ruthie" of Brian and Jacquie, Beverly and Lorne, Samantha and David, Benjamin and Alison, Peter and Daryn, Rebecca and Simon. Proud great grandmother of Zoe, Jessica, Andie, Cooper, Julia, Abby, Kennedy, Jacqueline, Kate, Jonah, Micah, and Alex. Predeceased by her sisters Ann (Chinke) Asher and Fanny Travitsky. Sister-in-law of Ed Sohmer and Pauline Sohmer. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and all of those whose lives she touched. Grateful appreciation to her caregivers Christine, Sheila and Shirley. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Monday September 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva to be announced.
