SPERBER, Edmund. Peacefully, after a courageous battle, on Thursday, June 24, 2004, in his eighty-sixth year. Beloved husband for sixty-three years of Tess. Devoted father and father-in-law of Judy and Phil Singer, Michael and Mindy Sperber. Cherished grandfather of Lianne and Shawn, Sharon and Teddy, Steven and Lianne, and Sarah. Loving Zaidie Ed of Jeremy Ryan, Evan Jacob, and Nicole Maya. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters in England. Special thanks to the Palliative Care staff of the Mount Sinai Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon west on Sunday, June 27 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his residence.
