KATZ, Barbara (Basia)(nee Azenberg). Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, after a courageous battle, on Wednesday, January 28, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Norman (Nachum) Katz. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Morrie and Susan Katz, Irwin and Debbie Katz, Rona and Stephen Kucer. Adored Bubby of Robyn and Kylie Katz; Aron, Jordan and Corey Katz; Natalie, Audrey and Harrison Kucer. Sister of the late Boris, the late Morris, the late Eli Azenberg. Special niece of Ann Gold. Loving aunt of Alan Eisenberg, Peter and Goldene Eisenberg. Heartfelt thanks to Ana Luisa Popkin for her devotion. Special thanks for the compassionate care given by the doctors and nurses of Oncology and 2 Main of the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Thursday, January 29 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 204 Harland Rd., Hampstead.
