FREEMAN, Freda (nee Meakins) Peacefully, on Monday, February 18, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Sydney. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Judy and the late Saul Cooner, Johnny and Phyllis Freeman of Toronto. Cherished Bubbie of Adelle and Norman Levine, Stacey Freeman, Cara and Jordan Fiksenbaum of Las Vegas. Proud 'Bubbie-Bubbie Freda' of Zoey, Jordyn, Sydney, Dylan, Holden and Carson. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Alice and Zussman Boxer, Bennie and Emily Meakins, Bessie and Andre Clue, Rose and Abie Goldberg. Sister-in-law of Peter and the late Goldie, Ida and the late Solly, the late Annie and the late Dave Freedman, the late Harry and the late Eve, the late Bea and the late Harry Fried, the late Ray and the late Abie Rosenberg, the late Abie and the late Dora Freeman. Freda will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank Olga, Roslyn, Maria Luisa, and Mark of the Jewish Eldercare Centre. Special thanks to Lenore and Anne for their exceptional care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, February 20 at 12 noon. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her daughter's home, after 1 p.m. daily.
