SAVELSON, Michael Richard It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Richard Savelson on Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Wonderful and devoted son of Thelma and the late Harry Savelson and the late Agnes. Son-in-law of Lila and Arthur Bronstein. Best friend and husband of Frederica Jacobs. Father of Zachary and Taylor. Brother of Bob, Evan and Aviva, and brother-in-law of Andrew and Telma, Stephen, Francine and Lisa. Uncle of Marissa, Erika, Alyse, Matt, Joey, Bradley, Jamie and Dylan. Nephew of Doris and Richard, Phil Bloom, Philip and Bernice, Leonard and Janet, Norman and Trina, Irving and the late Shirley, Seymour and Anita, Carlota and the late Eugene; cousin and friend to so many. The family would like to thank Dr. David Amdursky, the doctors, nurses and staff of the Haematology, Cardiac Surgery and Cardiology Departments at the Royal Victoria Hospital; and in particular, Drs. Molly Warner, Richard Haichin and Benoit de Varennes for the outstanding medical care and genuine devotion over the last eight years - years which were very much appreciated by Michael and by his family. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, November 24 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
