RAYSON, Allan (Al) Peacefully, on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, in his ninety-seventh year. Born in Harbin, China, in 1919. Beloved husband of Dorothy Task. Devoted and cherished father and father-in-law of Daniel Rayson and Patricia Maclean, Emily Rayson and Michael Sherman, Monica and David Sheldon. Very proud grandpa of Lev and Mira Rayson; Alec, Sam and Jonathan Sherman; and Michael Sheldon. Dear brother of the late Rolia Kant, and brother-in-law of the late Zelda and the late Lew Thow. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews in Montreal and Australia, and by his family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and 14th floor staff at the Montreal General Hospital, as well as Al's caregivers, Cris and Jenny, for their exceptional care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, December 24 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
