ROSENSTEIN FRIEDMAN, Sophie (nee Steinberg) Peacefully, in her ninety-fifth year, in Vancouver, BC, on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Wife of the late Harry Friedman and the late Morris Rosenstein. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Seymour and Louise Friedman of Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, Charron and Gabriel Kalfon of Vancouver. Cherished Bubbie of Harley and Sarah Friedman, Matthew and Robin Friedman; Hilaire Kalfon. Loving "great-Bubbie" of Gwendolyn and Daphnie Friedman; Mason, Malina and Reese Friedman. Sister of the late Louis Steinberg. Dear sister-in-law of Hadassah Taub, Gertie Friedman and Myrtle Friedman. Also sadly mourned by Morris' children, Sam and Fay Rosen, Sari Martens and their family. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, September 14 at 3 p.m. Burial at the Chevra Shaas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 242 Harrow Cr., Hampstead, QC. Due to the onset of Yom Kippur, shiva ends Friday morning, September 17.
